Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brenden McIan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute of the match, Brenden McIan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leon McBrand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 7 minutes, Brenden McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doonsheane AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brenden McIan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ryleigh McFrank came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Doonsheane AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryleigh McFrank couldn't finish the play. Leon McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenden McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Beckett John fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Damhliag's protests and gave Beckett John a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Damhliag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beckett John to maneuver through the defense. When Damhliag's Gilian Mullan in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doonsheane AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Beckett John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Gilian Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowe Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Beckett John made a precise shot to the right of Rowe Doyle. Doonsheane AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Damhliag's Leon McBrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Damhliag from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Ryleigh McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Leon McBrand. Damhliag's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 36 minutes into the match, Damhliag's goal looked a bit too open when Brenden McIan came free, but Leon McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donal Mulvihill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowe Doyle having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beglan McJohnny during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Beglan McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beckett John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowe Doyle having to interfere. Rowe Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braddon Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, Ryleigh McFrank recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leon McBrand. Ryleigh McFrank showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braddon Rutherford to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Doonsheane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brogan Savic to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Damhliag's goal looked a bit too open when Brenden McIan came free, but Leon McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donal Mulvihill's late challenge caught a Doonsheane AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donal Mulvihill helped the player get up and apologised. Donal Mulvihill hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shane Moran during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Doonsheane AFC. Beccan McLaughlin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leon McBrand. 3-3. Gilian Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gilian Mullan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rowe Doyle was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Rowe Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braddon Rutherford in the 67th minute of play. Braddon Rutherford scored 3-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rowe Doyle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Beckett John blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rowe Doyle having to make a save. After some careless play in the Damhliag defense, Ryleigh McFrank kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon McBrand. The Damhliag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon McBrand should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Doonsheane AFC's Ryleigh McFrank got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Beckett John managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Damhliag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beckett John was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shane Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Leon McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beccan McLaughlin in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Beckett John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braddon Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenden McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Doonsheane AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Damhliag for a fine match.
