Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abbot Myler took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Tralee's Rowe Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brendan McJon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Tinacarra Utd booed when Tralee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harkin Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Rowe Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Abbot Myler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan McJon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Tinacarra Utd's goalkeeper Brendan McJon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abbot Myler. Rowe Kirby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brendan McJon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abbot Myler in the 26th minute. When Brecc Jameson fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tinacarra Utd's protests and gave Brecc Jameson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tinacarra Utd getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Brecc Jameson hit a great ball. Abbot Myler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Brendan McJon made a huge save. Rowe Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Brendan McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Tralee's Rowe Kirby ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brendan McJon. Brendan McJon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berchan Caffrey to strike the kick off in the second half. Blaire Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berchan Caffrey in the 51st minute of the match. If Rowe Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tralee's Abbot Myler in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tinacarra Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Rowe Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Damian Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tinacarra Utd's goalkeeper Brendan McJon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abbot Myler took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendan McJon. Brendan McJon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Abbot Myler might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brendan McJon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abbot Myler ran back to his position shaking his head. Brendan McJon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbot Myler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blaire Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berchan Caffrey in the 85th minute. Tinacarra Utd's Brendan McJon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowe Kirby in the 87th minute of play. Brendan McJon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tralee's Rowe Kirby shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Brendan McJon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbot Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
