In the 2nd match minute, Clarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derry McDonald to maneuver through the defense. Beollan Walker hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes Clarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Suibhne McWilliam. After 18 minutes, Turlough Hutton made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barde Lester in the 23rd minute of play forced Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Clarina AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Britain Morrison hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Bat McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairee Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clarina AFC's Harkin Brennan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Breannain McPaul in the 37 minute of the game. The supporters of Geisill FC booed when Clarina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suibhne McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bairee Dalton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barde Lester in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Britain Morrison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bairee Dalton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bat McWilliam in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Geisill FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Turlough Hutton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Terence Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turlough Hutton in the 55th minute of play. Bairee Dalton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Turlough Hutton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. When Suibhne McSteve came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Clarina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suibhne McSteve couldn't finish the play. Bairee Dalton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turlough Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Clarina AFC from getting a goal against them. Bairee Dalton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turlough Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bairee Dalton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turlough Hutton in the 93rd minute of play. Turlough Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bairee Dalton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bat McWilliam.
