The audience thought a goal was coming when Patton McWill got free with Blaire Byrne in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 played minutes Tralee got a freekick which was hit by Logan Dimson. Tralee's Blaire Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Tralee from getting a goal against them. Blaire Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patton McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ballyguin's Bodibeua McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbot Myler in the 32nd minute of play. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blaire Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Wawrzyniec Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodibeua McWillie made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Abbot Myler sent off a good shot on target. Blaire Byrne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wawrzyniec Tomiczek went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 84thth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Tomiczek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tralee's Blaire Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Tomiczek in the 91st minute of play forced Tralee's goalkeeper Blaire Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Ballyguin were the better team. Ballyguin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
