Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dillon Scully started the match with the kick off. Dillon Scully came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Earnán Savic could save by the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Clooncoose's goalkeeper Earnán Savic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bhrighde McLaughlin. In the 10th minute Bhrighde McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Earnán Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrew McBrandon scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Lester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Clooncoose getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Breccan Savic hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Breck Mulvihill recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Earnán Savic. Breck Mulvihill showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Leonard Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew McBrandon in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Caherlane booed when Clooncoose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breccan Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Holt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Dillon Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew McBrandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Clooncoose's Briony Hutton got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew McBrandon to make the kick off. Breccan Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Dillon Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Earnán Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Earnán Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breck Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 64th minute Dillon Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Earnán Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Antaine Dunne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caherlane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clooncoose the free kick. In the 65th minute, Antaine Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrew McBrandon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Leonard Lester made a huge save. Andrew McBrandon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Lester having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew McBrandon got free with Leonard Lester in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thurl Cronin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Earnán Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breck Mulvihill in the 75th minute of play. When Caherlane's Breck Mulvihill in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clooncoose's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 played minutes Clooncoose got a freekick which was hit by Carson McJohnny. A collision led to Clooncoose getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Briony Hutton hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Briony Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Earnán Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillon Scully, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caherlane were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
