In the 72nd minute of the match, Gilian Mullan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kain Hughes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilian Mullan got free with Kain Hughes in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dane Mullan during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dane Mullan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Shanboe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Braddon Rutherford scored to the left of an out of position Kain Hughes, making the score, 2-3. With an all-out effort, Damhliag's Kain Hughes threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Braddon Rutherford, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Austin Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shanboe's supporters rose to their feet, but Austin Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon McBrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Dimson during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon McBrand came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Shanboe's Rollin Ferguson. But to his dismay, Rollin Ferguson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The Damhliag players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Shanboe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
