The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 62nd minute Breck Mulvihill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Breck Mulvihill made a precise shot to the right of Leon McBrand. Damhliag's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the Damhliag defense, Dillon Scully kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon McBrand. The Damhliag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon McBrand should have stopped the shot. Leon McBrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breck Mulvihill in the 88th minute of the match. Ryan Dimson's late challenge caught a Caherlane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Dimson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Damhliag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Dimson to maneuver through the defense. Damhliag's Leon McBrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Damhliag from getting a goal against them. Caherlane's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
