Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Turlough Hutton kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Geisill FC's Turlough Hutton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon McBrand. Leon McBrand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Geisill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braddon Rutherford came free, but Aengus Willson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bat McWilliam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Leon McBrand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Damhliag's Leon McBrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Damhliag from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Damhliag getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bera Savic hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turlough Hutton in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon McBrand saved Damhliag from getting behind. Braddon Rutherford scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aengus Willson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilian Mullan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Aengus Willson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damhliag. If Bearach McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Turlough Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beckett John's late challenge caught a Geisill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beckett John helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Damhliag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beckett John to maneuver through the defense. Leon McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turlough Hutton in the 36th minute of play. Breannain McPaul made a great header on Geisill FC's corner, it was just that Damhliag's Leon McBrand managed to reach the ball for a save. Beineon MaCollin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beineon MaCollin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Geisill FC's Beineon MaCollin got a free kick in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Braddon Rutherford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aengus Willson. Geisill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braddon Rutherford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 48 minutes into the match, Geisill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilian Mullan came free, but Aengus Willson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Braddon Rutherford made the kick off in the second half. Barde Lester kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Braddon Rutherford tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aengus Willson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Braddon Rutherford took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aengus Willson. Aengus Willson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilian Mullan got free with Aengus Willson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braddon Rutherford in the 69th minute of play forced Geisill FC's goalkeeper Aengus Willson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turlough Hutton in the 72nd minute of play forced Damhliag's goalkeeper Leon McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aengus Willson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilian Mullan in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bat McWilliam during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Geisill FC's Bat McWilliam got a free kick in the 78th minute. Joseph Horgan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aengus Willson. Geisill FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leon McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bat McWilliam in the 80th minute of play. Braddon Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Geisill FC booed when Damhliag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Bat McWilliam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon McBrand. Damhliag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bat McWilliam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Damhliag players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
