In the 21st minute, Terence Coyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clarina AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 27th minute, Dennis McTommy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bairee Dalton, passed just outside the right post. In the 38th minute, Derry McDonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bercnan Robinson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 44 played minutes Ballyconra Utd got a freekick which was hit by Cahir McOliver. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terence Coyle to strike the kick off in the second half. When Lee Ramsey fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clarina AFC's protests and gave Lee Ramsey a yellow card for diving instead. Lee Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bercnan Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terence Coyle in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Britain Morrison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bercnan Robinson. Britain Morrison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The supporters of Ballyconra Utd booed when Clarina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bearnard McJon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis McTommy struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bairee Dalton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyconra Utd. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barrie Morrison couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Clarina AFC's zone, Dennis McTommy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairee Dalton came out of the goal and Dennis McTommy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Barrie Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyconra Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barrie Morrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Barrie Morrison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballyconra Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clarina AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ballyconra Utd's Barrie Morrison got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Terence Coyle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bercnan Robinson, 0-4. Although Ballyconra Utd had been in control for most of the match, Clarina AFC still came away with the win.
