Carson McJohnny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Donlan MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Carson McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donlan MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Donlan MaCollin made the kick off in the second half. Donlan MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon McBrand having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Donlan MaCollin managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 90 minutes of play, Clooncoose's Donlan MaCollin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon McBrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clooncoose played a much better game than Damhliag and deserved their victory. The Damhliag players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
