Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abbot Myler kicked off to start the match. If Rowe Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Shanboe's zone, Abbot Myler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kain Hughes came out of the goal and Abbot Myler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rollin Matthews hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Tralee got a freekick which was hit by Artt Colwell. Triain Benson made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Baird Jameson immediately put the ball in play. In the 17th match minute, Shanboe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rollin Matthews to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Taylor in the 26th minute of play forced Tralee's goalkeeper Blaire Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Rowe Kirby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kain Hughes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abbot Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kain Hughes having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Rowe Kirby made a precise shot to the right of Kain Hughes. Shanboe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 39 minutes into the game, Blayne Robinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tralee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shanboe the free kick. The throw-in from Triain Benson in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Shanboe's Roordan Deans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baird Jameson in the 43rd minute of play forced Shanboe's goalkeeper Kain Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blaire Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rollin Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyrone Taylor to make the kick off. Kain Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowe Kirby in the 52nd minute of the match. Rollin Matthews's late challenge caught a Tralee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rollin Matthews helped the player get up and apologised. 57 minutes into the match, Shanboe's Tyrone Taylor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blaire Byrne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Tyrone Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Blaire Byrne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Tralee's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrone Taylor came free, but Blaire Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tralee's goalkeeper Blaire Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Abbot Myler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kain Hughes. Shanboe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abbot Myler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 82nd minute Austin Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaire Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Tralee got a freekick which was hit by Caimin McBrand. Kain Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowe Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
