Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Braddon Rutherford got the match started through his kick off. Leon McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew McBrandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Earnán Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braddon Rutherford in the 13th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Ryan Dimson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damhliag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clooncoose the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Ryan Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Andrew McBrandon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clooncoose's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew McBrandon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Clooncoose's Andrew McBrandon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Gilian Mullan struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Earnán Savic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damhliag. Andrew McBrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon McBrand having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Damhliag's zone, Andrew McBrandon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon McBrand came out of the goal and Andrew McBrandon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon McBrand came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clooncoose's Andrew McBrandon. But to his dismay, Andrew McBrandon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew McBrandon to make the kick off. With a little luck, Clooncoose's Earnán Savic got control of the ball when Gilian Mullan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Damhliag getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Donal Mulvihill hit a great ball. Irwin Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tevin McPeter hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gilian Mullan came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Earnán Savic could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Clooncoose's Carson McJohnny got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Joseph Horgan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Earnán Savic skillfully saved the ball. Andrew McBrandon might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon McBrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrew McBrandon ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrew McBrandon scored 5-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon McBrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leon McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew McBrandon in the 73rd minute of play. Carson McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon McBrand having to interfere. If Carson McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clooncoose's Andrew McBrandon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Braddon Prunty fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Damhliag's protests and gave Braddon Prunty a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Braddon Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damhliag's Leon McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew McBrandon in the 88th minute of play. Braddon Prunty made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joseph Horgan. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clooncoose fully deserved thier win.
