Breanainn Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Finn McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes in the game Bret McDonald did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Troy Caffrey. 31 minutes into the game, Bret McDonald threw the ball into play from the sideline. Drumreilly's Bannon Todd quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Drumreilly booed when Cooraclare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbot Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes Cooraclare got a freekick which was hit by Troy Caffrey. Bret McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Cooraclare's goalkeeper Finn McBjarton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breanainn Crowe. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Breanainn Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Finn McBjarton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breanainn Crowe went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bret McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Colmcille Frankson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Finn McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumreilly. Breanainn Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Cooraclare's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Callaghan came free, but Finn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Breanainn Crowe notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cooraclare's Finn McBjarton. Finn McBjarton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugh McGlenn charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugh McGlenn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Drumreilly got a freekick which was hit by Hugh McGlenn. Drumreilly walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
