Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bevin Morrison took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Clúb Futbol Campilé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gill Ghee to maneuver through the defense. Barnaby McAaron might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rowan Doyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnaby McAaron ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaby McAaron came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ballygawley FC defense, Barnaby McAaron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rowan Doyle. The Ballygawley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rowan Doyle should have stopped the shot. Giles Silke hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Clúb Futbol Campilé's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Bevin Morrison scored to the left of an out of position Bracken John, making the score, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Braon Caffey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rowan Doyle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bracken John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bevin Morrison in the 37th minute of the match. Rowan Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaby McAaron in the 40th minute of play. If Braon Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnaby McAaron made a kick off. A collision led to Ballygawley FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dane Savic hit a great ball. Barnaby McAaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ballygawley FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Clúb Futbol Campilé. Farrell Ghee stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rowan Doyle. 1-3. The supporters of Clúb Futbol Campilé booed when Ballygawley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biddy McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaby McAaron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Rowan Doyle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Barnaby McAaron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rowan Doyle. Ballygawley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaby McAaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. 81 minutes into the game, Dane Savic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballygawley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clúb Futbol Campilé the free kick. A collision led to Ballygawley FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dane Savic hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Ballygawley FC got a freekick which was hit by Blamhac McStephen. Farrell Ghee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Clúb Futbol Campilé played a much better game than Ballygawley FC and deserved their victory. The Ballygawley FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
