After 7 minutes, Beccan Gillmour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doon and the Fiddown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Beccan Gillmour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bar Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Banvan Benson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aodh McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banvan Benson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Aodh McOliver sent off a good shot on target. Peter McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basil McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Doon's goalkeeper Banvan Benson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bar Savic. When Beccan Gillmour came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Doon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beccan Gillmour couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basil McAlphie in the 26th minute of play forced Fiddown's goalkeeper Peter McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Bar Savic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Banvan Benson, 1-0. If Bar Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter McPaul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil McAlphie in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bar Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiddown's supporters rose to their feet, but Bar Savic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Banvan Benson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Banvan Murphy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fiddown the free kick. In the 41st minute, Banvan Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Banvan Benson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bar Savic went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 48 minutes into the match, Fiddown's goal looked a bit too open when Baydan Lester came free, but Peter McPaul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bar Savic to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bealtaine McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Banvan Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, David Doyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiddown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doon the free kick. The supporters of Doon booed when Fiddown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beccan Gillmour in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peter McPaul, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Banvan Benson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bar Savic, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Bar Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Baydan Lester took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Peter McPaul to make any attempt to save it. 78 minutes into the match, Doon's goal looked a bit too open when Bar Savic came free, but Banvan Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baydan Lester charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baydan Lester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baydan Lester kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Bealtaine McTom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doon's Banvan Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bar Savic in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Bar Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiddown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bar Savic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doon's Banvan Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bar Savic in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Fiddown were the better team. Fiddown's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
