Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Berrach Palmer kicked off to start the match. Berrach Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Randal Silke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berrach Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Cooraclare's goal looked a bit too open when Hayes McGlynn came free, but Finn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bret McDonald hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Kilgowan FC's Hayes McGlynn in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cooraclare's goalie prevented a goal. Berrach Palmer struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Leonard McWill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cooraclare. The audience thought a goal was coming when Troy Caffrey got free with Leonard McWill in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Hayes McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kilgowan FC's Leonard McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berrach Palmer in the 54th minute of play. When Ryon McMichel fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilgowan FC's protests and gave Ryon McMichel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Kilgowan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryon McMichel to maneuver through the defense. Isaac McWill kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Kilgowan FC's Hayes McGlynn in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cooraclare's goalie prevented a goal. Eoin Deery hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Kilgowan FC's Hayes McGlynn got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Bret McDonald in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kilgowan FC's Bevan Byrne. If Bevan Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cooraclare's attentive Barock McBrand managed to snatch the ball when Bevan Byrne made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Berrach Palmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kilgowan FC's Bevan Byrne managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bret McDonald in the 92 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy Caffrey during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Troy Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kilgowan FC's Hayes McGlynn was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kilgowan FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
