Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bodenstown FC's Binnech Taylor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Declan Murphy in the 3rd minute of play forced Aghaterry Utd's goalkeeper Quirk Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quirk Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Declan Murphy in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Bodenstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roordan McWill came free, but Dónal Bayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tormaigh Martyn hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tormaigh Martyn in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dónal Bayes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Quirk Martyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Declan Murphy went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bodenstown FC's Dónal Bayes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Bodenstown FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Bodenstown FC defense, Tormaigh Martyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dónal Bayes. The Bodenstown FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dónal Bayes should have stopped the shot. Bairne McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Binnech Taylor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aghaterry Utd's Quirk Martyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tormaigh Martyn took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dónal Bayes. Dónal Bayes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, Aghaterry Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Binnech Taylor came free, but Quirk Martyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bannon McWillie lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th minute, one of Aghaterry Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aghaterry Utd. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roordan McWill made the kick off in the second half. Quirk Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Binnech Taylor in the 60th minute of the match. When Bodenstown FC's Binnech Taylor in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aghaterry Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Aghaterry Utd's Quirk Martyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Aghaterry Utd from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Aghaterry Utd's protests and gave Brendanus Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. Brendanus Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Aghaterry Utd booed when Bodenstown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairne McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Roordan McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aghaterry Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roordan McWill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Conleth McPhilip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Declan Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bodenstown FC booed when Aghaterry Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conleth McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Brite Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bodenstown FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Geralt Perth hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Roordan McWill had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dónal Bayes. Bodenstown FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roordan McWill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bram Perth during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Bodenstown FC got a freekick which was hit by Bram Perth. Dónal Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roordan McWill in the 96th minute of play. Aghaterry Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
