A collision led to Doon getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Quinton McPhilip hit a great ball. Dane Savic's late challenge caught a Doon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dane Savic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Dane Savic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dane Savic got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 12 played minutes Ballygawley FC got a freekick which was hit by Dane Savic. Basil McAlphie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rowan Doyle. Ballygawley FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Beagan Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ballygawley FC booed when Doon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Banvan Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Beagan Matthews put in a rough tackle. In the 21st match minute, Ballygawley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beagan Matthews to maneuver through the defense. Quinton McPhilip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rowan Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beccan Gillmour in the 29th minute of play. Rowan Doyle came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Doon's Banvan Murphy. But to his dismay, Banvan Murphy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rowan Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beccan Gillmour in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Doon booed when Ballygawley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bevin Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beccan Gillmour came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Baydan Lester took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rowan Doyle to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute Baydan Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baydan Lester in the 59th minute of play forced Ballygawley FC's goalkeeper Rowan Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Bevin Morrison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bevin Morrison hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Bevin Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banvan Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bevin Morrison in the 70th minute of play. Rowan Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baydan Lester in the 75th minute of the match. Beccan Gillmours short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Rowan Doyle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Declan McTommy kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Beccan Gillmour in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rowan Doyle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 91st minute Baydan Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beccan Gillmour got free with Rowan Doyle in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
