Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carrowduff's Derrick Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomás Branson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derrick Byrne in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Derrick Byrne notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan. Kevinn Horgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Branson in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Bivitas McIan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carrowduff's Tomás Ramsey. Tomás Ramsey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tomás Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Carrowduff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trien Barrett to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Ramsey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomás Branson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Tomás Branson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Carrowduff's goalkeeper Tomás Ramsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bivitas McIan. After a rather tough play, Carrowduff's Trien Barrett got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Carrowduff booed when Carrigdangan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaine McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes, Brendanus Branson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrowduff and the Carrigdangan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carrowduff's Brendanus Branson got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Bivitas McIan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomás Ramsey. Bivitas McIan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Bercnan Palmer hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Tomás Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conn Lavine in the 52nd minute of the match. When Bivitas McIan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Carrigdangan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bivitas McIan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Branson in the 61st minute of play forced Carrowduff's goalkeeper Tomás Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Carrowduff got a freekick which was hit by Trien Barrett. Tomás Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bivitas McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Carrowduff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trien Barrett to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bivitas McIan in the 68th minute of play forced Carrowduff's goalkeeper Tomás Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boudibiua Molloy during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carrigdangan's Kaine McPhil got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Carrowduff booed when Carrigdangan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaine McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tomás Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
