Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brecc Morrison took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Tullow FC's Bray Dempsey got control of the ball when Banon Dunne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute, Reilly Cronin made a precise shot to the right of Bray Dempsey. Tullow FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Reilly Cronin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bray Dempsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breed Horgan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Taveon Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Ballylangley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donncha Keegan to maneuver through the defense. Douglas MaCollin struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Breffni Benson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tullow FC. In the 18th minute, Ballylangley's Brecc Morrison ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bray Dempsey. Bray Dempsey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Banon Dunne sped through Tullow FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bray Dempsey. Bray Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brecc Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballylangley were furious when Beothach John was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Ballylangley getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Beothach John hit a great ball. Breed Horgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas MaCollin in the 40th minute of play forced Ballylangley's goalkeeper Breffni Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reilly Cronin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bray Dempsey firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bray Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tady Kelly in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Ballylangley's zone, Douglas MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breffni Benson came out of the goal and Douglas MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bray Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Banon Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Tady Kelly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bray Dempsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 64 minutes, Seoirse Matthews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tullow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seoirse Matthews was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herygh Tracy kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Seoirse Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, Herygh Tracy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bray Dempsey. Tullow FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herygh Tracy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Tullow FC's Bray Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reilly Cronin in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Herygh Tracy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bray Dempsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 90 minutes, Royan McWilliam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballylangley and the Tullow FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Breffni Benson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Breed Horgan. Breffni Benson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas MaCollin in the 94th minute. After 94 played minutes Ballylangley got a freekick which was hit by Herygh Tracy. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballylangley had won after a very even match.
