Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas MaCollin got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Carrowduff's Rooney McWill got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 played minutes, Tullow FC's Breed Horgan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Ramsey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tullow FC reached it. In the 4th minute, Giles Quinnless made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Ramsey. Carrowduff's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Egan Callaghan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bray Dempsey made a huge save. Bray Dempsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Lester in the 16th minute. Tomás Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taveon Caffey, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darby McOliver in the 27th minute of play forced Carrowduff's goalkeeper Tomás Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Derrick Byrne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrowduff and the Tullow FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Carrowduff getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Derrick Byrne hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Douglas MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taveon Caffey, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Carrowduff's Gil Lester got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Trien Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Seoirse Matthews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gil Lester hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derrick Byrne in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bray Dempsey saved Tullow FC from getting behind. Egan Callaghan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Blaithmeic McPeter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrowduff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tullow FC the free kick. Blaithmeic McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bray Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Taveon Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derrick Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray Dempsey having to interfere. Tomás Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taveon Caffey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Derrick Byrne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bray Dempsey. Tullow FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Derrick Byrne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Carrowduff's Derrick Byrne got a free kick in the 87th minute. Carrowduff's Tomás Ramsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taveon Caffey in the 91st minute of play. Trien Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
