Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Toran Taylor made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Breasal Gillmour notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Carton's Christer Ahlquist. Christer Ahlquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dennis Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aspire Alligators Academy's zone, Peadar McIan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack McAlphie came out of the goal and Peadar McIan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Peadar McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Ahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breasal Gillmour in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, one of Aspire Alligators Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aspire Alligators Academy. The referee gave Carton a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patty McIan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie. 1-2. Christer Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Toran Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Carton's Eoghan McPeter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack McAlphie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Aspire Alligators Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Eoghan McPeter came free, but Jack McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes Aspire Alligators Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patty McIan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Carton's corner Patty McIan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jack McAlphie quite easily take care of the ball. The Aspire Alligators Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carton were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peadar McIan to make the kick off. Christer Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toran Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breasal Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breasal Gillmour in the 66th minute of play. Eoghan McPeter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jack McAlphie made a huge save. Breasal Gillmour got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Christer Ahlquist handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Carton's Eoghan McPeter got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Peadar McIan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Carton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peadar McIan couldn't finish the play. Eoghan McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jack McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Peadar McIan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jack McAlphie. Peadar McIan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Christer Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Peadar McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jack McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
