Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Derrick Byrne made the kick off which started today's match. After 8 minutes, Derrick Byrne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrowduff and the Baunrosmore players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Carrowduff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derrick Byrne to maneuver through the defense. Derrick Byrne scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baran Robinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Gavin McNamee had to leave the field with a concussion. Gerald Dimson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerald Dimson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baunrosmore made a substitution. Keefe Robinson replaced Gavin McNamee. The supporters of Baunrosmore booed when Carrowduff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerald Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Bard Deans sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Ramsey skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute, Derrick Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baran Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derrick Byrne in the 27th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Baunrosmore's Donoghue Jameson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Ramsey. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keefe Robinson got free with Tomás Ramsey in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donoghue Jameson in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Ramsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Ramsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keefe Robinson in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donoghue Jameson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philib Beckett in the 51st minute of play forced Carrowduff's goalkeeper Tomás Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carrowduff's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bard Deans was slow to take the kick. During this time Baunrosmore's players had a chance to rest. Donoghue Jameson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Carrowduff's Tomás Ramsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keefe Robinson in the 56th minute of play. Tomás Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keefe Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Bercnan Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrowduff and the Baunrosmore players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Carrowduff got a freekick which was hit by Bercnan Palmer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philib Beckett in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Ramsey saved Carrowduff from getting behind. After 68 minutes of play, Baunrosmore's Bard Deans made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Ramsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bard Deans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Ramsey having to interfere. After some careless play in the Carrowduff defense, Donoghue Jameson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Ramsey. The Carrowduff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Ramsey should have stopped the shot. Tomás Ramsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donoghue Jameson in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donoghue Jameson in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Ramsey saved Carrowduff from getting behind. Derrick Byrne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baran Robinson came out and tried to block the shot, but Derrick Byrne slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 87th minute. Barley Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Baunrosmore were the better team. Baunrosmore's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
