Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tomás Branson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Clongeen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donavon McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. Pat Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conn Lavine in the 5th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Clongeen got a freekick which was hit by Baodan Horgan. In the 16thth minute of the game Tomás Branson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clongeen's Pat Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baodan Horgans short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Kevinn Horgan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Clongeen booed when Carrigdangan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrian Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Conn Glen Crowe in the 19th minute really tested Kevinn Horgan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 21st minute, Bivitas McIan made a precise shot to the right of Pat Rutherford. Clongeen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tomás Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pat Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Clongeen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Donavon McBrandon hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Carrigdangan's Tomás Branson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Clongeen booed when Carrigdangan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bree Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Brine McCready ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevinn Horgan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Brine McCready could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Kevinn Horgan made a huge save. In the 40th minute Baodan Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevinn Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevinn Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donavon McBrandon in the 46th minute of play. Baodan Horgan charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baodan Horgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Clongeen getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Baodan Horgan hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baodan Horgan to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Clongeen's goalkeeper Pat Rutherford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bivitas McIan. After a rather tough play, Carrigdangan's Conn Lavine got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brine McCready in the 70th minute of play forced Carrigdangan's goalkeeper Kevinn Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baodan Horgan in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Baodan Horgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Tomás Branson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrigdangan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clongeen the free kick. 86 minutes into the match, Carrigdangan's goal looked a bit too open when Brine McCready came free, but Kevinn Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conn Lavine during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute Baodan Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevinn Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevinn Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baodan Horgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
