Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brenna McStephen made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, one of Lisagoan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lisagoan. Irwin McSteve hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Pearce Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harrigan Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Lisagoan's goalkeeper Pearce Hunt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finnigan Cooney. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Brecc Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisagoan's supporters rose to their feet, but Brecc Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Deans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Lisagoan's Brenna McStephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Deans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Finnigan Cooney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathcool's supporters rose to their feet, but Finnigan Cooney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pearce Hunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Finnigan Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pearce Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finnigan Cooney made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breadan Lavine got free with Patrick Deans in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Rathcool's Aaden McJames got a free kick in the 56th minute. Brenna McStephen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Deans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisagoan's Brenna McStephen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Deans. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. If Irwin McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Brenna McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Finnigan Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearce Hunt having to interfere. Art Savic shot from long distance in the 79th minute, but Patrick Deans was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brenna McStephen in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Deans saved Rathcool from getting behind. Brennan Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brennan Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brennan Robinson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Finnigan Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenna McStephen in the 95th minute of play forced Rathcool's goalkeeper Patrick Deans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
