Gearoid Morrison hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Braydon McFrank came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Corbaly's Terence Barrett. But to his dismay, Terence Barrett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Luska Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Terence Barrett came free, but Braydon McFrank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Luska Utd booed when Corbaly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleary McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bresal Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradaigh Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleary McJohn hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Louie Keegan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Luska Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Balor Glen Crowe came free, but Braydon McFrank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Corbaly were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Balor Glen Crowe to strike the kick off in the second half. Rownun Robinson's late challenge caught a Corbaly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rownun Robinson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Luska Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rownun Robinson to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Corbaly's Balor Glen Crowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braydon McFrank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luska Utd's Braydon McFrank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence Barrett in the 56th minute of play. Cleary McJohn made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Louie Keegan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balor Glen Crowe got free with Braydon McFrank in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Luska Utd's Rownun Robinson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Bearnard Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bresal Dempsey having to interfere. Corbaly's Bresal Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradaigh Beckett in the 76th minute of play. Bearnard Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luska Utd's Breed Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Corbaly had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
