Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dookinelly's attack was well implemented in the 3rd minute, but when Salmon Gollogley was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Colmcille Frankson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salmon Gollogley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Portleen FC got a freekick which was hit by Flannery Rutherford. In the 24th minute, Portleen FC's Toran McOliver seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Toran McOliver the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Portleen FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Toran McOliver had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Toran McOliver hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Suibhne Bayes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colmcille Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy McCready in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Portleen FC defense, Troy McCready kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colmcille Frankson. The Portleen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colmcille Frankson should have stopped the shot. Portleen FC's Colmcille Frankson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Booak Ryan in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salmon Gollogley in the 39th minute of play forced Portleen FC's goalkeeper Colmcille Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colmcille Frankson came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Dookinelly's Artur McVictor. But to his dismay, Artur McVictor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur McVictor in the 43rd minute of play forced Portleen FC's goalkeeper Colmcille Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Portleen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur McVictor came free, but Colmcille Frankson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portleen FC's Colmcille Frankson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenna McWilliam in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Dookinelly were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Artur McVictor made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dookinelly getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Suibhne Bayes hit a great ball. Scott Kelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearse Beckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Portleen FC's Colmcille Frankson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Portleen FC from getting a goal against them. Colmcille Frankson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Booak Ryan in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dookinelly's Booak Ryan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Colmcille Frankson. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the game, Portleen FC's Conor Ramsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scott Kelly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Artur McVictor struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Colmcille Frankson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dookinelly. 69 minutes into the match, Portleen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Troy McCready came free, but Colmcille Frankson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Portleen FC's Colmcille Frankson got control of the ball when Booak Ryan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Dookinelly's goal looked a bit too open when Conor Ramsey came free, but Scott Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott Kelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearse Beckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Scott Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coileán McLiam in the 77th minute of the match. Colmcille Frankson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Booak Ryan sent off a good shot on target. Biddy Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Portleen FC got a freekick which was hit by Bevin Todd. After a defensive mix-up in Portleen FC's zone, Salmon Gollogley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colmcille Frankson came out of the goal and Salmon Gollogley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colmcille Frankson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Booak Ryan sent off a good shot on target. Portleen FC's Bevin Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
