In the 17th minute, Skaghard's Artaç Elfaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Scott Kelly. Scott Kelly yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 20 minutes, Bardain McNamara made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dookinelly's Scott Kelly tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Scott Kelly was a little too slow when Artaç Elfaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 4-0. The supporters of Skaghard booed when Dookinelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suibhne Bayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scott Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Onori in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bardain McNamara got free with Scott Kelly in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Troy McCready was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zachary Toney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

In the 51st minute Troy McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Toney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Dookinelly defense, Ettore Onori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Kelly. The Dookinelly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Kelly should have stopped the shot. Salmon Gollogley did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 7-1 to the left of a surprised Zachary Toney 90 minutes into the match.
