An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Palmer in the 14th minute of play forced Luska Utd's goalkeeper Braydon McFrank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Shanmullagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bradaigh Beckett came free, but Banban Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Bradaigh Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luska Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradaigh Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breed Hughes in the 40th minute of play forced Shanmullagh's goalkeeper Banban Deans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breed Hughes was the one to do the kick off. The Luska Utd players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Shanmullagh from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
