Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brennon McIan started the match with the kick off. Pearce Hunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conor Ramsey in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Keefe Gillmour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lisagoan and the Portleen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lisagoan getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Keefe Gillmour hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Brennan Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colmcille Frankson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colmcille Frankson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecc Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Brennon McIan sped through Lisagoan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pearce Hunt. After having played for 22 minutes, Brecc Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisagoan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brecc Doherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brecc Doherty got free with Colmcille Frankson in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th match minute, Lisagoan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keefe Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. Pearce Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coileán McLiam, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brennon McIan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pearce Hunt saved Lisagoan from getting behind. In the 30th minute Portleen FC were awarded a corner. Beary Barrett went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Beary Barrett got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pearce Hunt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute, Brennon McIan made a precise shot to the right of Pearce Hunt. Lisagoan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lisagoan's Pearce Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conor Ramsey in the 39th minute of play. Brennon McIan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Pearce Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portleen FC. When Brennon McIan came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Portleen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brennon McIan couldn't finish the play. Brecc Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lisagoan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portleen FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brenna McStephen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brecc Doherty struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Colmcille Frankson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lisagoan. Lisagoan's Pearce Hunt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Lisagoan from getting a goal against them. Pearse Beckett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pearce Hunt made a huge save. Toran McOliver took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pearce Hunt. Lisagoan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Portleen FC's Brennon McIan in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lisagoan's goalie prevented a goal. Brecc Doherty hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Portleen FC's Brennon McIan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pearce Hunt. Pearce Hunt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Brennon McIan put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pearce Hunt. Conor Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearce Hunt having to interfere. The supporters of Portleen FC booed when Lisagoan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brennan Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colmcille Frankson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brecc Doherty in the 76th minute of the match. Pearse Beckett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Pearce Hunt made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Brennon McIan notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Lisagoan's Pearce Hunt. Pearce Hunt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pearse Beckett's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pearce Hunt firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute Coileán McLiam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearce Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brennon McIan in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pearce Hunt saved Lisagoan from getting behind. Portleen FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
