Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shanmullagh's Banban Deans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coileán McLiam in the 5th minute of play. Banban Deans came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Portleen FC's Conor Ramsey. But to his dismay, Conor Ramsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarlath John during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Jarlath John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Banban Deans managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Portleen FC's Brennon McIan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute Aaron Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colmcille Frankson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brennon McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shanmullagh's Banban Deans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Shanmullagh from getting a goal against them. Colmcille Frankson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Banban Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coileán McLiam, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Conor Ramsey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Banban Deans. Conor Ramsey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 37 played minutes Shanmullagh got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Palmer. Banban Deans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brennon McIan in the 39th minute. 42 minutes in the game, Conor Ramsey fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Banban Deans having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Brennon McIan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Banban Deans. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Palmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brennon McIan in the 56th minute of play forced Shanmullagh's goalkeeper Banban Deans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Conor Ramsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Banban Deans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Coileán McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Portleen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coileán McLiam couldn't finish the play. Bercnan Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Banban Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brennon McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Brennon McIan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Banban Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Shanmullagh's goal looked a bit too open when Brennon McIan came free, but Banban Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Banban Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brennon McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Banban Deans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Ramsey in the 92nd minute of the match. Aaron Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Portleen FC were the better team. Portleen FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
