Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shanmullagh's Aaron Palmer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfred McDecland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Banban Deans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenainn Martyn in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Brenainn Martyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Banban Deans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Shanmullagh's goal looked a bit too open when Brenainn Martyn came free, but Banban Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Banban Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenan Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Beothach McBrand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berach Morrison having to make a save. Banban Deans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blathma McSteve in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Shanmullagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blathmac McStephen to maneuver through the defense. When Blathmac McStephen fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shanmullagh's protests and gave Blathmac McStephen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Shanmullagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blathmac McStephen to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Rowen Branson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Banban Deans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Alfred McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Banban Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Banban Deans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Aaron Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Palmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Palmer hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Banban Deans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brenan Myler went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Alfred McDecland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Banban Deans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Banban Deans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred McDecland in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Curhownagh's Brenainn Martyn made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Banban Deans was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 53rd minute, Blathma McSteve made a precise shot to the right of Banban Deans. Shanmullagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After 56 minutes of play, Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Banban Deans was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Banban Deans managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Shanmullagh's Banban Deans got control of the ball when Brenainn Martyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Banban Deans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenainn Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred McDecland scored 0-9 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Banban Deans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brenan Myler took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Banban Deans. Banban Deans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Banban Deans made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Alfred McDecland sent off a good shot on target. Alfred McDecland succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-11. Alfred McDeclands short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Banban Deans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brenainn Martyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Banban Deans made a huge save. Banban Deans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renny Tierney in the 91st minute. Banban Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blathma McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Shanmullagh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Brenainn Martyn scored to the left of an out of position Banban Deans, making the score, 0-12. The supporters of Shanmullagh booed when Curhownagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenan Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curhownagh's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
