The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ballinrolla AFC's Farrell McAaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmons McWillie in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Timmons McWillie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Farrell McAaron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ballinrolla AFC's Farrell McAaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmons McWillie in the 9th minute of play. Farrell McAaron came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Piemonte's Timmons McWillie. But to his dismay, Timmons McWillie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Timmons McWillie struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute Timmons McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell McAaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Timmons McWillie made a precise shot to the right of Farrell McAaron. Ballinrolla AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Brennon Molloy came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ballinrolla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brennon Molloy couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ballinrolla AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bercnan Doyle hit a great ball. Timmons McWillie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Farrell McAaron having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmons McWillie to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Ballinrolla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Branson Hutton. FC Piemonte's Brannan McLaughlin was substituted for Becan Molloy. FC Piemonte made a substitution. Kennedy McFrancise replaced Łukasz Czarny. After a rather tough play, Ballinrolla AFC's Branson Hutton got a free kick in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Piemonte's Timmons McWillie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Farrell McAaron. That made the score 0-5 after 64 minutes of play. 71 minutes into the match, Timmons McWillie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farrell McAaron. Ballinrolla AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmons McWillie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Timmons McWillie put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Farrell McAaron. 82 minutes into the match, Ballinrolla AFC's goalkeeper Farrell McAaron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timmons McWillie. The supporters of FC Piemonte booed when Ballinrolla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branson Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farrell McAaron was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Timmons McWillie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timmons McWillie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. FC Piemonte's Kennedy McFrancise managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bercnan Doyle in the 92 minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Timmons McWillie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Timmons McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Timmons McWillie came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Piemonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmons McWillie couldn't finish the play. FC Piemonte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
