Spectators: 8700 (Terracing: 6525, Seating: 2001, VIP seats: 174) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donell Frankson kicked off to start the match. Earnán Glen Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yadi Tanamal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Earnán Glen Crowe might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yadi Tanamal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Earnán Glen Crowe ran back to his position shaking his head. Donell Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yadi Tanamal having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Breffni Barrett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaine McCready was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Breffni Barrett kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blaine McCready. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breffni Barrett got free with Blaine McCready in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Blayne Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yadi Tanamal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donell Frankson in the 46th minute of play. Donell Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrigane's Henry Silke was substituted for Sander Lell. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breffni Barrett made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coileán McIan got free with Yadi Tanamal in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breffni Barrett hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Henry Silke fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrigane's protests and gave Henry Silke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carrigane getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Henry Silke hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Coileán McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clortrane's supporters rose to their feet, but Coileán McIan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yadi Tanamal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Clortrane got a freekick which was hit by Justin Murphy. Zachariasz Klimkiewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blaine McCready. Clortrane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Bernard McAaron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blaine McCready. Clortrane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard McAaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With an all-out effort, Clortrane's Yadi Tanamal threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donell Frankson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 93 minutes into the match, Clortrane's Earnán Glen Crowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yadi Tanamal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yadi Tanamal was a little too slow when Donell Frankson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 3-1. Coileán McIan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
