Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boyce Ferguson started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Clortrane got a freekick which was hit by Justin Murphy. Blavock Ferguson scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blaine McCready, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes in the game Blayne Palmer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Earnán Glen Crowe. If Donell Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Clortrane's zone, Boyce Ferguson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaine McCready came out of the goal and Boyce Ferguson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Ferguson in the 18th minute of play forced Clortrane's goalkeeper Blaine McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boudibiua McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donell Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Clortrane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blayne Palmer to maneuver through the defense. Clortrane's Blaine McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keelin McPaul in the 22nd minute of play. Donell Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boudibiua McJohnny having to interfere. Earnán Glen Crowe came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Boudibiua McJohnny could save by the left post. Keelin McPaul charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keelin McPaul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Boyce Ferguson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blaine McCready having to make a save. The supporters of Clortrane booed when Ballyroan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keelin McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glenn Barrett hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Ballyroan FC's Boyce Ferguson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blaine McCready. Blaine McCready yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Boudibiua McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donell Frankson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Earnán Glen Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boudibiua McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Donavon Dalton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballyroan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clortrane the free kick. Donavon Dalton hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Booak Myler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ballyroan FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Clortrane side.
