The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eoghan Cronin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Milan Fighters booed when Ballinrolla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Milan Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Ballinrolla AFC booed when Milan Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coinneach Duggan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brennon Molloy came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ballinrolla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brennon Molloy couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bar Dempsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Gearroid McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell McAaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milan Fighters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
