Rordan Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9thth minute of the game Boyce Ferguson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunderry's Ferdia Gough was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Ballyroan FC got a freekick which was hit by Austin McWill. Gilbert Cassin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Boudibiua McJohnny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunderry. Finn McCollion got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Boyce Ferguson. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Boyce Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyroan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyce Ferguson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdia Gough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ballyroan FC booed when Dunderry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garrett Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ballyroan FC's Boudibiua McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrett Robinson in the 74th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Dunderry got a freekick which was hit by Ryley McWillie. A hard shot by Boyce Ferguson from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Ferdia Gough's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 81 minutes, Banon Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunderry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Banon Ryan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Banon Ryan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boudibiua McJohnny. Boudibiua McJohnny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Dunderry booed when Ballyroan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brede Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Rordan Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot.
