Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 118) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donell Frankson kicked off to start the match. Bowen Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine McCready having to interfere. Blaine McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theobald Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Clortrane's goal looked a bit too open when Bowen Coyle came free, but Blaine McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaine McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blar Delaney in the 9th minute of the match. Blaine McCready didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandinho Azteca went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Spital's Boyce Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donell Frankson in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Spital defense, Donell Frankson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyce Quinnless. The Spital fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyce Quinnless should have stopped the shot. Blaine McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bowen Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Spital's Theobald Myler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blaine McCready narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clortrane's Blaine McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theobald Myler in the 23rd minute of play. Blaine McCready made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bowen Coyle in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Theobald Myler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blaine McCready. Clortrane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theobald Myler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Theobald Myler did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Blaine McCready 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Spital's Fernandinho Azteca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Blaine McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theobald Myler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justin Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

If Bowen Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Justin Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaine McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Spital's Theobald Myler made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blaine McCready was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Theobald Myler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaine McCready was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. When Spital's Theobald Myler in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clortrane's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Spital's Theobald Myler fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Earnán Glen Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clortrane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earnán Glen Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clortrane's Donell Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81st play minutes Bowen Coyle shot 9-1, a short shot which went by Blaine McCready and just under the crossbar into goal. If Donell Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theobald Myler kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Basil McWill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spital and the Clortrane players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Spital getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Basil McWill hit a great ball. If Earnán Glen Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spital fully deserved thier win.
