Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bowen Coyle started the match with the kick off. Theobald Myler made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dunderry's Patty McBjarton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banon Ryan in the 8th minute of play forced Spital's goalkeeper Boyce Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cullan McLian in the 16th minute of play forced Dunderry's goalkeeper Ferdia Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdia Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bowen Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Bowen Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunderry's Ferdia Gough was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandinho Azteca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ferdia Gough made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Cullan McLian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferdia Gough, 1-0. Ferdia Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Azteca in the 31st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Dunderry defense, Bowen Coyle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdia Gough. The Dunderry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdia Gough should have stopped the shot. With his leg Ferdia Gough managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Spital's Fernandinho Azteca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Dunderry's Ryley McWillie got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dunderry's Ferdia Gough proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Dunderry from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Banon Ryan made a kick off. Dónal McNamara made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernandinho Azteca immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Art Sheridan during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Art Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Fernandinho Azteca notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dunderry's Ferdia Gough. Ferdia Gough was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Spital's Blar Delaney quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tevin Cronin, made in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Cullan McLian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdia Gough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdia Gough came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Spital's Fernandinho Azteca. But to his dismay, Fernandinho Azteca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 74 minutes into the game, Bowen Coyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ferdia Gough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdia Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bowen Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theobald Myler in the 93rd minute of play forced Dunderry's goalkeeper Ferdia Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Garrett Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunderry and the Spital players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dunderry's Garrett Robinson got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spital fully deserved thier win.
