Inverin
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bard Cronin took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee gave Feegavla a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donleavy Delaney, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inverin's Bar Martyn. 0-1. After 9 minutes, Donleavy Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feegavla and the Inverin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Feegavla's Donleavy Delaney got a free kick in the 9th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Torna Quinnless dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Muhsin Evcimen, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bard Cronin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bar Martyn saved Inverin from getting behind. A collision led to Inverin getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bil Ryan hit a great ball. After 26 minutes of play, Feegavla's Bard Cronin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bar Martyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inverin's Bar Martyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bard Cronin in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Inverin's goal looked a bit too open when Bard Cronin came free, but Bar Martyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Petran McPeter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feegavla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petran McPeter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Feegavla's Torna Sheridan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bar Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bard Cronin in the 39th minute of the match. Bar Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bard Cronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Inverin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Feegavla were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torna Quinnless made a kick off. In the 59th minute of the game Braydon McDonald made a throw-in which Torna Quinnless played forward. In the 60th minute, Bil Ryan made a precise shot to the right of Muhsin Evcimen. Feegavla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 63rd minute Todd Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhsin Evcimen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muhsin Evcimen came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Inverin's Torna Quinnless. But to his dismay, Torna Quinnless quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Inverin's zone, Donleavy Delaney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bar Martyn came out of the goal and Donleavy Delaney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Feegavla's Rollin Kelly got a free kick in the 75th minute. Donavin McGlynn, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Muhsin Evcimen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Coyle went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Bard Cronin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bar Martyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bard Cronin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes, Brecc Willson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inverin and the Feegavla players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Inverin had won after a very even match.
