Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bar Martyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donn McSteven in the 6th minute. Inverin's Donavin McGlynn got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peyton McNamee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torna Quinnless in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Torna Quinnless notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caheradrine's Peyton McNamee. Peyton McNamee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Healy McMichel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Caheradrine's Donn Barrett quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Inverin's Bar Martyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boynton Rutherford in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Bowie Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Coyle came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Caheradrine players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inverin were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donn McSteven made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn McSteven in the 52nd minute of play forced Inverin's goalkeeper Bar Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Caheradrine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eamonn McWillie to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Donn Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Inverin's Donavin McGlynn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peyton McNamee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bar Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donn McSteven in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Donn Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Inverin's Brecc Willson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peyton McNamee. That made the score 0-3 after 70 minutes of play. The supporters of Caheradrine booed when Inverin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baird Prunty didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Donn McSteven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bar Martyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Caheradrine booed when Inverin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Coyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Inverin got a freekick which was hit by Donavin McGlynn. The Inverin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inverin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
