Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Quirk Kirby got the match started through his kick off. Blathmac Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quirk Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute Beamard Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bailey Myler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartel McFrancise in the 13th minute of play forced Buncrana FC's goalkeeper Bailey Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Becan McLian's late challenge caught a Cogran AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Becan McLian helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Buncrana FC got a freekick which was hit by Becan McLian. In the 14th minute Conor Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bailey Myler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Bartel McFrancise ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bailey Myler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Becan McLian was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. The Cogran AFC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Cogran AFC's Beamard Martyn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the game, Beamard Martyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bailey Myler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pearce McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bailey Myler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartel McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buncrana FC's Bailey Myler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartel McFrancise in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conor Crowe in the 33rd minute of play forced Buncrana FC's goalkeeper Bailey Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cogran AFC's Blathmac Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirk Kirby in the 42nd minute of play. Coran Taylor struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Bailey Myler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cogran AFC. After the first half Cogran AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beamard Martyn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Buncrana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cogran AFC:s goal. Buncrana FC:s Bailey Myler showed great skill when he stopped Beamard Martyn:s penalty. Pawd Rutherford's late challenge caught a Cogran AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pawd Rutherford helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buncrana FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pawd Rutherford hit a great ball. If Conor Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pearce McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Bailey Myler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartel McFrancise in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beamard Martyn got free with Bailey Myler in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the game, Bartel McFrancise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bailey Myler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pearce McBrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bailey Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Cogran AFC's Conor Crowe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bailey Myler. Bailey Myler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. When Beamard Martyn came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cogran AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beamard Martyn couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Bartel McFrancise recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bailey Myler. Bartel McFrancise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 85 minutes into the game, Cogran AFC's Beamard Martyn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bailey Myler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Buncrana FC's Bailey Myler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartel McFrancise in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Conor Crowe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cogran AFC and the Buncrana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cogran AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Conor Crowe hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Patraic Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buncrana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patraic Deery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blathmac Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Beamard Martyn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bailey Myler. That made the score 0-9 in the 95 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cogran AFC's Bartel McFrancise slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bailey Myler. That made the score 0-10 after 98 minutes of play. The Buncrana FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cogran AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
