Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Donn McSteven got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boyne Harkin got free with Peyton McNamee in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bowie Benson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Peyton McNamee successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Boyne Harkin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Boyne Harkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peyton McNamee was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peyton McNamee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ainnle McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 28th minute, Ryan John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caheradrine's Peyton McNamee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Caheradrine from getting a goal against them. Peyton McNamee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iarla McFrancise in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Caheradrine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bowie Benson to maneuver through the defense. Ryan John charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan John the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Ryan John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blanaid Hutton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peyton McNamee. Caheradrine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Ainnle McPaul came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Blanaid Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killoran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blanaid Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes, Berke McCready mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killoran and the Caheradrine players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Killoran got a freekick which was hit by Berke McCready. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boyne Harkin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Blanaid Hutton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Killoran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Donn McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Caffrey having to interfere. Ryan John kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Peyton McNamee came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Killoran's Iarla McFrancise. But to his dismay, Iarla McFrancise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Berke McCready kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Brendan Caffrey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phelan McDonald in the 64th minute. Brendan Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donn McSteven in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donn McSteven in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brendan Caffrey saved Killoran from getting behind. If Ros Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caheradrine's Peyton McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iarla McFrancise in the 76th minute of play. The Killoran fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Killoran's Boyne Harkin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute, Ainnle McPaul made a precise shot to the right of Peyton McNamee. Caheradrine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 88th minute, Iarla McFrancise ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peyton McNamee was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Killoran players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
