After 4 played minutes Game Over got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Horgan. 5 minutes into the match, Game Over's goalkeeper Cacey John had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bard Cronin. Cacey John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petran McPeter in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Game Over's goal looked a bit too open when Bard Cronin came free, but Cacey John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bard Cronin got free with Cacey John in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theobald Martyn charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theobald Martyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Theobald Martyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Donegal McAaron sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Game Over's Cacey John didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Game Over's zone, Bard Cronin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacey John came out of the goal and Bard Cronin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Game Over getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arthur Horgan hit a great ball. Bard Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacey John having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beamard Coyle in the 27th minute of play forced Feegavla's goalkeeper Muhsin Evcimen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torna Sheridan's late challenge caught a Game Over's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torna Sheridan helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Feegavla got a freekick which was hit by Torna Sheridan. Cacey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donleavy Delaney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Game Over booed when Feegavla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Haljasorg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bard Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cacey John didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bard Cronin went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 42 played minutes Feegavla got a freekick which was hit by Torna Sheridan. When Bard Cronin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Feegavla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bard Cronin couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bard Cronin made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Feegavla getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bert Haljasorg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bard Cronin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feegavla's supporters rose to their feet, but Bard Cronin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacey John breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Game Over's Arthur Horgan got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cacey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bard Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bard Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theobald Martyn hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. During the 74th minute of the match Arthur Horgan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arthur Horgan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arthur Horgan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Bard Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacey John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacey John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bard Cronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Game Over's goal looked a bit too open when Bard Cronin came free, but Cacey John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacey John came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Feegavla's Bard Cronin. But to his dismay, Bard Cronin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Feegavla had played much better football throughout.
