Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beccan Tierney took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Brannon McAaron threw the ball into play from the sideline. Feegavla's Berk Delaney quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Brannon McAaron fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galway Cowboys's protests and gave Brannon McAaron a yellow card for diving instead. Brannon McAaron hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Feegavla booed when Galway Cowboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brannon McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pembroke Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donleavy Delaney in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donleavy Delaney in the 21st minute of play forced Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Pembroke Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feegavla's Muhsin Evcimen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bivadi Gallagher in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play Galway Cowboys's Brannon McAaron was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 26 played minutes Galway Cowboys got a freekick which was hit by Brannon McAaron. After 28 minutes of play, Feegavla's Bard Cronin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pembroke Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donleavy Delaney might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pembroke Gallagher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donleavy Delaney ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnold Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Arnold Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bard Cronin came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pembroke Gallagher could save by the left post. Bard Cronins short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Pembroke Gallagher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Donleavy Delaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bard Cronin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Feegavla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungur Ulunay to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Feegavla's Muhsin Evcimen got control of the ball when Bannan McPhil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Galway Cowboys's Sacha Boey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rollin Kelly during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bardain McTom in the 61st minute of play forced Feegavla's goalkeeper Muhsin Evcimen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhsin Evcimen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beccan Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Feegavla defense, Sacha Boey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muhsin Evcimen. The Feegavla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muhsin Evcimen should have stopped the shot. In the 84th match minute, Feegavla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard Cronin to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Beccan Tierney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhsin Evcimen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bard Cronin in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pembroke Gallagher saved Galway Cowboys from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Feegavla's goal looked a bit too open when Sacha Boey came free, but Muhsin Evcimen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Galway Cowboys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Feegavla.
