Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donn McSteven kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Donn McSteven got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pat Walker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boynton Rutherford during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Caheradrine getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Boynton Rutherford hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Donn McSteven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peyton McNamee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cullan Dimson in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Braonain McJames had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peyton McNamee. Caheradrine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braonain McJames was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 24th minute Braonain McJames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyton McNamee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Cullan Dimson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyton McNamee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dhún na nGall™ booed when Caheradrine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn McSteven didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Ailill Ryan came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dhún na nGall™ booed when Caheradrine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn McSteven didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Caheradrine players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dhún na nGall™ were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cullan Dimson was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Dhún na nGall™ booed when Caheradrine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theobald Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Donn McSteven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caheradrine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donn McSteven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Caheradrine's Boynton Rutherford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pat Walker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Peyton McNamee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cullan Dimson in the 64th minute of the match. When Cullan Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Dhún na nGall™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cullan Dimson couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Caheradrine got a freekick which was hit by Eamonn McWillie. The supporters of Dhún na nGall™ booed when Caheradrine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence Callaghan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braonain McJames hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Donn McSteven hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Dhún na nGall™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Boynton Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caheradrine's supporters rose to their feet, but Boynton Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pat Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cullan Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pat Walker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn McSteven in the 87th minute of the match. Boynton Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With 95 minutes on the clock, Terrence Hunt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Dhún na nGall™'s Terrence Hunt got a free kick in the 96th minute. Bowie Benson struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Pat Walker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caheradrine. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dhún na nGall™ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
