Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Inverin's Torna Quinnless started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Game Over's Trien McMichel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bar Martyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Inverin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torna Quinnless to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Blayne Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Game Over's supporters rose to their feet, but Blayne Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bar Martyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bar Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Bar Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beamard Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Game Over's Cacey John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Game Over from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torna Quinnless got free with Cacey John in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inverin's Bil Ryan got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Bivadas Dimson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bar Martyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Game Over's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Coyle came free, but Cacey John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bar Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beamard Coyle in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Game Over were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blayne Todd to make the kick off. Donavin McGlynn's late challenge caught a Game Over's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donavin McGlynn helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Inverin got a freekick which was hit by Donavin McGlynn. Bar Martyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blayne Todd in the 55th minute. Bar Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beamard Coyle in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Game Over's Beamard Coyle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bar Martyn. Bar Martyn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Bar Martyn made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Blayne Todd sent off a good shot on target. Bar Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trien McMichel in the 69th minute of the match. Donavin McGlynn was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Inverin getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Donavin McGlynn hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Inverin's goalkeeper Bar Martyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blayne Todd. After 80 played minutes Inverin got a freekick which was hit by Pearse Deery. Beamard Coyle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bar Martyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When Bil Ryan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Inverin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bil Ryan couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Bil Ryan notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Game Over's Cacey John. Cacey John was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Game Over's Treno Johnson got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cacey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Game Over left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inverin.
