Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Quirk Kirby made the kick off and thus started the match. Peyton McNamee came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buncrana FC's Finnigan Cooney. But to his dismay, Finnigan Cooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Finnigan Cooney scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peyton McNamee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn McSteven in the 12th minute of play forced Buncrana FC's goalkeeper Bailey Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Buncrana FC got a freekick which was hit by Patraic Deery. 20 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Finnigan Cooney came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Pawd Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyton McNamee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Finnigan Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peyton McNamee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawd Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quirk Kirby scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peyton McNamee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finnigan Cooney in the 34th minute of play forced Caheradrine's goalkeeper Peyton McNamee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peyton McNamee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirk Kirby in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Eamonn McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caheradrine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eamonn McWillie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 played minutes Buncrana FC got a freekick which was hit by Donell Willson. In the 41st minute Quirk Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyton McNamee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caheradrine's Peyton McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawd Rutherford in the 47th minute of play. 49 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Quirk Kirby came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donn McSteven to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawd Rutherford got free with Peyton McNamee in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Buncrana FC booed when Caheradrine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boynton Rutherford didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Pawd Rutherford came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peyton McNamee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quirk Kirby in the 61st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Finnigan Cooney came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caheradrine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Quirk Kirby scored to the left of an out of position Peyton McNamee, making the score, 0-4. In the 76th minute, Theobald Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Finnigan Cooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyton McNamee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patraic Deery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Peyton McNamee made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Caheradrine's Phelan McDonald got a free kick in the 87th minute. Breaghdha Mullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caheradrine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Pawd Rutherford scored to the left of an out of position Peyton McNamee, making the score, 0-6. After 97 minutes, Patraic Deery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buncrana FC and the Caheradrine players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th match minute, Buncrana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patraic Deery to maneuver through the defense. Buncrana FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
