Ivan Forrest didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes in the game, Iain Bignot dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Husbands Bosworth City's goal looked a bit too open when Iain Bignot came free, but Gary Winfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Bristol Centre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ashley Hutchinson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ashley Golding blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gary Winfield having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iain Bignot in the 15th minute of play forced Husbands Bosworth City's goalkeeper Gary Winfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kev Gray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damion Holbrook's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ashley Hutchinson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Kev Gray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Husbands Bosworth City. The audience was convinced that Damion Holbrook's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kev Gray was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ashley Hutchinson got free with Kev Gray in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damion Holbrook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kev Gray having to interfere. Kev Gray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damion Holbrook in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Damion Holbrook who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bristol Centre's Kev Gray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes in the game, Ashley Hutchinson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kev Gray having to interfere. Kev Gray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damion Holbrook in the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iain Bignot to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ashley Golding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Ashley Hutchinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Husbands Bosworth City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Hutchinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damion Holbrook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Iain Bignot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Winfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Iain Bignot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Bristol Centre's goal looked a bit too open when Damion Holbrook came free, but Kev Gray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ashley Hutchinson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Husbands Bosworth City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Hutchinson couldn't finish the play. Brian Granville kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Drew Burton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gary Winfield made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ashley Golding in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Husbands Bosworth City's Damion Holbrook got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ashley Golding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Ashley Golding made a precise shot to the right of Gary Winfield. Husbands Bosworth City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Iain Bignot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bristol Centre's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
