In the 16th minute, Bradley North got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jake Lamb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Turk, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 25 played minutes Withernsea got a freekick which was hit by Carl Hehir. Jordan Chappell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benji Leach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Chappell in the 30th minute of play forced Withernsea's goalkeeper Benji Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Stead sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Benji Leach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 56th minute, Jordan Chappell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Turk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Lamb having to interfere. If Tommy Turk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Withernsea's Benji Leach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordan Chappell in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Moylough 79 FC booed when Withernsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calum Bye didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Withernsea's goalkeeper Benji Leach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archie Welsh. Benji Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Chappell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Withernsea's Benji Leach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Withernsea from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Daniel Stead got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ash Boland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Moylough 79 FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Withernsea from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
